Lounging with the Mom

Mother's Day is coming up and I want to do something cool for my mom. I know she hates spending money on herself, so I want to find some Los Angeles spas deals to pamper her with. I found the Lounge Spa in Culver City and they have a sweet deal for Mother's Day. It's two parts: a Vitamin C facial and then a 50 minute aromatherapy massage. It starts with a dry brush exfoliation, then a gentle Swedish massage, and then a scalp massage. Then as an extra gift, they throw in a "Spa to Go" travel kit with sugar souffle body scrub and mandarin orange bath bomb. All of this for only $170.00. It's the perfect Los Angeles spa deals for the perfect mom.

Be a Goddess for a Day

OMG. I just went to the Olympic Spa this weekend (which is kind of like a Korean bathhouse) and loved it! So my friend goes here a couple times of month and says it her fave of the Los Angeles spa deals. She usually just goes to use the the steam room, scrub down and get some great food. She says she can usually get by on only $30. But for my first visit, I felt like splurging so I got the Goddess signature body treatment, which is only $130 for almost two hours of treatment. Wow, talk about Los Angeles spa deals. You start with a Korean scrub, which is definitely a scrub, so be warned. then you get a seaweed body shampoo, and then you get a aromathereapy massage as well as a scalp massage. Then I got my first facial massage, which is supposed to get rid of toxins, followed by a facial mask. They then shampoo your hair and hydrate you with some lotion. This was an amazing and thorough experience and it felt so great. I still feel amazing, even after a few days, so go check out the best of the Los Angeles spa deals.

Thank Goodness It's Tuesday

I'm going to Vegas this weekend, which means i need to be in tip-top shape - thank God for Los Angeles spa deals. So I booked the "Twosday" at Le Petite Retreat Day Spa. You save $20 when you book ANY two (2) treatments you enjoy on any "Twosday"! I can a much needed facial and mani/pedi and rock my new outfits at the clubs... I'll probably need to book a recuperation session too when I get back after all the partying, but that's what Los Angeles spa deals are for anyway.

Painless at Pink Cheeks!

With this gorgeous weather, bikini shopping becomes inevitable, along with double the trips to the gym and an appointment at Pink Cheeks in Sherman Oaks for my bikini wax. Located on Ventura Blvd., this salon has one of those great Los Angeles spa deals going on with SocialBuy.com. For $20, you get $40 dollars worth of service which is almost exactly the price for the famous Brazilian wax. It's open Tuesday through Friday from 6 am from 6 pm and Saturday from 6 am to 3 pm which is great for busy schedules. When taking advantage of Los Angeles spa deals, you want to find great service and a clean salon and Pink Cheeks has both of these things. Not to mention that Pink Cheeks is thorough and quick and Cindy, the owner, is legit. Check out my favorite of the Los Angeles spa deals so far!

Turning Back the Clock

Check out the Skin Haven Spa Studio for Los Angeles spa deals. If need extractions done, they do an absolutely phenomenal and painless treatment. The spa is located on 300 N Crescent Heights Blvd
and if you are a first time clinet, you can get a 75 minutes facial or massage for $99! Another great part of Skin Haven, apart from being clean and having a warm atmosphere, is that they have another aspect to their Los Angeles spa deals - you can take in your own beauty products and they can tell you if they are right for your skin, so you're not buying or using the wrong products. Plus, Skin Haven avoids product pushing, which is such a relief. My skin glows for 6 weeks, whenever I go in for a facial and my pores are so clear, it's like I'm two years old again. I really recommend taking advantage of these Los Angeles spa deals.

Chop Chop: Time for a Haircut?

I recently went to Chop Chop Salon Gallery for a haircut and it was legit for Los Angeles spa deals. I’m a special case with Los Angeles spa deals, especially hair deals, because I am so picky. I want a cut that looks super new and dramatic, but I want to keep my hair length, so it’s challenge for any hair stylist to stick to my parameters. But my stylist at Chop Chop was great. I got my edgy new cut without losing any length! The salon is located in West Hollywood and if you mention their Yelp ad, you get 20% off a color or cut. The coupon for these Los Angeles spa deals is good through March 27, just in time to spruce up for Spring Break.

Martini and Manicure? Yes, please!

So the Beauty Bar in Hollywood doesn't really jump to mind when I think of Los Angeles spa deals, but I don't know why. It combines my two favorite things: cocktails and beauty treatments. So I got a quick manicure and tried the Brunette cocktail and basked in my own personal heaven before going out for a night on the town. So it's not one of those conventional Los Angeles spa deals. But sometimes, I just want a quick little pick-me-up and this was certainly the place to go for that. Regardless of the fact it doesn't have the fullest service menu of Los Angeles spas, it certainly is one of my favorite places and is part of the Los Angeles spa deals because of their winning combination. Plus, the decor is really, really cute.

Massage and Cucumbers. Need I say more?

I just went to Hankook Sauna in K-town for $70 scrub and massage and left feeling the cleanest and more refreshed than other experiences with Los Angeles spa deals. First the $70 for the hour and a half long treatment was so worth it and pretty cheap for what you get, not to mention that the cucumber facial was made with real, pureed cucumber! My skin felt so toned and de-puffed - it was a miracle worker. I've done my research on Los Angeles spa deals and a lot of spas use a lot synthetic substances, so I really appreciated the simplicity of the treatment. I will definitely be visiting Hankook for their great Los Angeles spa deals.

Facial and Massage Package is Exactly What I Need

When it comes to Los Angeles spa deals, I also look for daily deals in Los Angeles- not just one day sales, but deals that are pretty consistent at different venues. At Century West Medi-Spa (310-475-3488), you can get a 1 hour Swedish massage and a facial for only $99! That's a crazy deal... usually massages alone are at least $80 and facials range from $30-50, so this is quite a steal. Plus this place is on Westwood Blvd. with super-easy parking and it's clean and professional. I checked it out the other day while doing research for these Los Angeles spa deals, and was struck by the courteous staff and made an appointment right then and there for next week. So excited to experience one of my Los Angeles spa deals - I'll let you know how it goes!

And Let the Pampering Come to You!

Wedding season is now upon us. So now I can feel bitter about being single. But at least with my Los Angeles spa deals, I can be pretty and bitter. My next wedding is this Sunday, but I am determined not to go with a pallid complexion. I found a site, SocialBuy.com that sometimes has Los Angeles spa deals and they have a deal right now for spray tanning from Island Spray Tan for $60, which would normally be $125. So the best part of this place is that it is mobile and they will come to your house! Isn't that a great idea? I'm all for the comfort of my own home. I already scheduled a session for Friday so I can have a glowing complexion, reduced cellulite, invisible stretch marks, and look like I just back from a week in Tahiti with a dashing, wealthy gentlemen, instead of chained to my work desk, reading wedding blogs and feeling sorry for myself. Yay Los Angeles spa deals!

Easy Peasey Pedicure

Because I'm like the most broke I've been in ages, I've been trying to save money by finding Los Angeles spa deals (hence, this blog.) So I heard from a friend about Oasis Nail Spa in Burbank and if you make an appointment for before 4 p.m. for a pedicure, you can get a $1 manicure. That's one of those freaking amazing Los Angeles spa deals! And if you get your eyebrows waxed, then you can also get your lip waxed for free. Just too good for Los Angeles spa deals. Waxing, pedicure, manicure - one stop shop. Not to mention it's clean, professional, quick - all of those things that you want in an LA spa. I would highly recommend it as far as my Los Angeles spa deals go.

Beauty on a Budget a.k.a. Free Samples!

I'm going to diverge from our traditional Los Angeles spa deals, and tell you guys about The Beauty Event at Neiman Marcus. Through March 7, if you go to Neiman Marcus and spend $100, (which, let's be real, is not that hard, especially when you have to pick up new spring colors,) you get a huge bag of goodies, which is more than you get through most Los Angeles spa deals. Samples of Van Cleef and Arpels perfume and La Mer serum? Sold. I prefer samples to full-sizes anyway because I always get bored of my beauty products after a while. It's so fun to try new things and maybe find a new staple in your beauty routine - a new eye cream, facial moisturizer or lipstick color. So you'd better hit Neiman Marcus up in Los Angeles and enjoy one of my non Los Angeles spa deals!

Breaking out of Bad Skin

I've been breaking out since my winter break. It must be turning the heat on my apartment, which dries out my skin. So now that I look like I've hit puberty again, I've been looking for Los Angeles spa deals to rejuvenate my tired skin. I bought a voucher from SocialBuy.com for $100 worth of services for $50! Good deal. Now I'm debating about all the Los Angeles spa deals they offer in the form of facials. The SilkPeel is their signature, but I think I might need something a little stronger in the form of the salicylic facial, which is for blackheads and enlarged pores. Sounds like it'll clear my face right up. Now that's one of those Los Angeles spa deals I can really reap the benefits from.

The Softer Side of The Raven

I just went to The Raven in Silver Lake. So it wasn't like they were putting on Los Angeles spa deals, but I just really enjoyed the multitude of choices and the far-East vibe from this place. My main concern whenever I look for Los Angeles spa deals is the cleanliness and the Raven was no exception to this rule. It was impeccable. I was in heaven during my Thai massage. I have never had a Thai massage before, but it was incredibly calming and I felt so centered after the hour. This is a unique spa which I personally think makes it one of those unique Los Angeles spa deals.

I Want to Look Young, But Not That Young

After my last vacation, I broke out like I hit puberty again. I don't know if it was the weather or the flight or something else, but I started looking for Los Angeles spa deals including facials this past week. I found rA Organic Spa in Burbank and they have hour-long facials personalized to your skin type. They spend time analyzing your skin type, (first selling point as one of those great Los Angeles spa deals) and they use these life-changing essential oils. My skin cleared up almost instantaneously, but I also felt so much more relaxed and my skin is still glowing and its been a couple of weeks since I got a facial. rA Organic Spa super-amazing for finding those Los Angeles spa deals!

Spa Sampling Continued...

So I splurged on the spa package for $99 at Voda Spa to treat myself for Valentine's Day. (Even though I don't have date, at least I can look hot!) It was one of the best Los Angeles spa deals I have ever tried. I liked it because you really got a feel for all the services that Voda offers: the Banya Platza, a Wild Berry Scrub, a 20 minute massage and a facial and all of this under 2 hours. It was a wonderful extended lunch break! I love Los Angeles spa deals, especially when they are clean and posh and have great cocktails, so Voda got my stamp of approval. I love my life - You really can't get bored finding new Los Angeles spa deals.

A Happy Ending for a Broken Nail

When you go to a spa, you want to be pampered. Thus, Los Angeles spa deals aren't always about getting the right price, but also getting the right treatment at these places. That's why of all my Los Angeles spa deals, I love going to Paint Shop Beverly Hills the most. Yeah, I definitely get a great manicure, but the manicurists there are super-sweet and attentive. It's like being transported to one of those salons in the movies, where you feel like your hairstylist is your bff. And they do everything right and talk to you without being annoying. That's one of those wonderful Los Angeles spa deals I always take advantage of.

Caterpillars Be Gone!

Not gonna lie, but my eyebrows can get out of control if I'm not vigilant, Thus, I'm always looking for a great Los Angeles spa deals to get my eyebrows done. I just discovered the Thread Bar in Westwood and for $7 got one of the best Los Angeles spa deals ever. It was painless, quick and easy, even though they only take cash. No redness, no swelling, no overpriced service just perfectly groomed arches. You really can't get any better than than when looking for Los Angeles spa deals. I don't think I ever have to go anywhere else. I'm definitely going there again. Thank you, Thread Bar!

Natural Magic for Your Hair

Finding Los Angeles spa deals can be taxing, which is why I love Aveda’s salon in Westwood. It’s a student training center, but you can get an amazing haircut and style for only $19! It’s one of the best Los Angeles spa deals that you can get all the time. Plus, there is a mini-facial included and the students are so attentive and careful to do a great job on your hair. I’ve always been so satisfied with the whole process. It can take a while sometimes - a little bit over an hour - but it’s one of those totally worthwhile Los Angeles spa deals! Just be sure to make your appointment early, because they get booked pretty fast.

Reasons I am Indecisive

Sometimes, I really hate choosing between things. For instance, when I go to the spa, I have to figure out what I want to get. Do I want a facial and a massage? Or a massage and manicure? Or is it time to get some waxing done? But if I do my research and find Los Angeles spa deals for spas in my area, I don't have to choose. I can get a full package for cheap and have a full day. With Los Angeles spa deals, the choices would be between different color nail polishes and hot stone massages versus the Swedish massage. I guess I would still hate making decisions, but at least they would be more fun decisions to make. With Los Angeles spa deals, I wouldn't have to choose between being relaxed or making my hair look socially acceptable, I can have both!

The Payment Hurts More than the Swedish Massage

Massages at Bliss or The Wilshire Spa can go for more than $100. It almost seems better to keep the money and suffer the stiff neck and knots in your back. But with Los Angeles spa deals, which are pretty easy to find, you can loosen up. If you haven't had a massage in a while, or ever, then get on it! It's a life-changing experience, especially when you take advantage of Los Angeles spa deals. Sometimes you can get Los Angeles spa deals for two and finally have that catch-up session with a friend or treat your mom. It's a wonderful way to bond without spending a ton of money and your friend will love it too. Who can really say no to that? The hardest thing about that day will be figuring out which of the gazillion things on the menu you want to do. If it's a full day, you might as well get a facial and mani-pedi too. With Los Angeles spa deals, you can try a little bit of everything.
